Pulmonary and Allergic Diseases
In the Department of Pulmonary Diseases, the diagnosis and treatment services are provided for the diseases such as asthma and allergy, COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease) and Emphysema, Bronchitis, Lung cancer examination, pneumonia, inflammatory diseases of the lungs, pulmonary embolism in the lungs. In the clinic, all kinds of examinations and treatments for allergic respiratory diseases are performed. The respiratory function capacity values used in the differential diagnosis of many lung diseases are measured.
All allergy tests (prick tests) and specific IgE blood tests (house dust mites, pollen, food allergy, etc.) are performed extensively in the search for allergic disease in our unit. The allergic diseases which has been increased in the recent years (allergic rhinitis, allergic eye infection, allergic asthma, urticaria, angioedema) are investigated through diagnostic tests, skin tests for allergy, skin patch tests (Patch tests). The main causes of the diseases are determined and the treatment is performed correctly in the shortest time. In the hospital, the examinations are performed under the supervision of expert physicians.
