Medical Aesthetic
What is Medical Aesthetics?
Medical aesthetics refers to non-surgical procedures in order to reduce the negative impacts of aging and environmental factors on the skin. Many people who are not satisfied with their appearance or who want to look younger can achieve the desired appearance without undergoing any surgery thanks to medical aesthetic procedures.
The advantage of medical aesthetic procedures for the patient is that the recovery period is quite short. After the procedures, patients can return to their daily lives in a short time. All treatment methods applied in the medical aesthetics departments of our hospital are performed by specialist doctors who know human anatomy and physiology well and have an aesthetic vision.

Mesotherapy
Mesotherapy consists of the words "meso=medium" and "therapy=treatment" and means "medium skin treatment". Mesotherapy is a method applied by using very thin and short needle tips. Since the absorption of substances is very low in mesotherapy, systemic circulation of the substance is almost non-existent. Mesotherapy is often used for aesthetic purposes, mainly to correct skin problems (spots, acne, scars, seborrheic dermatitis, etc.), to delay skin aging and to prevent hair loss, as well as for cellulite and regional slimming. When mesotherapy is performed by a trained doctor, there are almost no complications. As in each injection procedure, small bruises, redness and swelling may occur, which usually disappear within a few days. Allergic reactions can be seen rarely against the mixture components used in mesotherapy. Mesotherapy is not applied to pregnant women, breastfeeding women and those with a history of allergy.
- Face and Neck Mesotherapy (Meso-Lifting)
Hyaluronic acid, antioxidants, vitamins, minerals and amino acids (peptides) that rejuvenate the skin are applied under the skin through tiny needles. Mesotherapy ingredients are: Hyaluronic acid, Copper, DMAE (dimethylaminoethanol), hyaluronic acid, magnesium, selenium, organic silica, vitamin A, vitamin B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, vitamin C, zinc, amino acids, peptides, nucleic acids ( Salmon-DNA), alpha lipoic acid, is glutathione. Applying these beneficial substances directly to the skin and stimulating the skin increases the collagen and elastin production of the skin and skin rejuvenation is achieved. Facial mesotherapy is applied at intervals of 2 weeks. On average, 4-6 sessions are performed within 2-3 months. In order to maintain the results, a single session can be repeated at intervals of 3-6 months. The results of facial mesotherapy begin to appear after the second session. The skin looks fresher and younger. Elasticity of the skin increases and skin sagging decreases. Wrinkles and spots are reduced, the skin becomes brighter. After the treatment is over, the skin rejuvenation effect continues. Facial mesotherapy can be applied together with other rejuvenating methods. For example, it provides much more successful results if combined with laser or radiofrequency applications. Facial mesotherapy before or after filling procedures provides significant results in reducing the skin sagging.
- Hair Mesotherapy
Hair has been continuously researched in the field of medicine, with its structural features that are highly influenced by daily life. Such factors as daily stress, tension, irregular and/or malnutrition, pregnancy and breastfeeding, and hormonal imbalance cause hair loss. As the hair follicles lose their nutritional value, they become thinner, weaker and duller. It is a treatment method applied by injecting vitamin, mineral and amino acid mixtures necessary for hair into the scalp. With this method, it allows the nourishing components to be infused in the hair easily. It will nourish the hair with special needle tips of 2 to 4 mm, and will contribute to increasing antioxidants and blood circulation. While this method can treat hair loss, it thickens thinning hair, stops shedding, and makes the hair healthier and brighter.
- Cellulite Treatment with Mesotherapy
Cellulite is a circulatory disorder that can be seen in all age groups in men and women. In general, it occurs due to the lymphatic drainage problem due to hormonal factors. The cause of cellulite is the connective tissue bands that hold the skin, trap the fat and thus cause the dimple effect. Our formula used in cellulite treatment, when injected into the problematic areas of the body, increases the local metabolism rate, preventing the cells from storing fat and destroying the existing fat cells. Fat deposits are dissolved and stiff connective tissue is corrected. Thus, a smooth, spotless appearance is achieved. Since mesotherapy is applied directly to the problematic area, you can see its direct effect. Mesotherapy can be applied to the neck, abdomen, belly, waist, back, thighs and knee areas. It is applied in an average of 4-8 sessions, with an interval of 2 weeks. Better results can be achieved by combining with devices.
- Eye Contour Mesotherapy
The skin around the eyes is quite fine and sensitive than other skin areas. For this reason, the skin around eye contour is the first area which is affected both by the aging and negative lifestyle habits. It is possible to treat eye contour problems such as genetic and acquired wrinkles, bruises, rings and bagging with under-eye mesotherapy. Eye contour mesotherapy is a special mesotherapy method consisting of hyaluronic acid, antioxidants, amino acids, peptides and B group vitamins. These different substances in mesotherapy can create a synergistic effect with each other and eliminate the problem of wrinkles, bruising, sagging and discolorations around the eyes. Eye contour mesotherapy is applied with small special mesotherapy needles to certain areas around the eyes, leaving 1.5-3 mm gaps, in a short time like 15 minutes.
- Acne Mesotherapy
Acne is a skin problem that is seen in every person, especially in adolescence, but can also occur in older ages. Acne is an often recurring inflammatory disease that develops due to the clogging of glands called sebaceous glands, which produce oil under the skin. Unfortunately, systemic drugs used for acne today (especially isotretinoin and antibiotics) have very serious side effects. Therefore, direct subcutaneous treatment (mesotherapy) may be preferred by some patients. Mesotherapy is a basic method in the treatment of acne. Subcutaneous 'retinoic acid' (vitamin A), vitamin C, zinc, etc. is injected. These help maintain the sebum balance of the skin and prevent scarring. Acne formation stops when the oily skin problem is eliminated. At the same time, new cell formation on the skin is triggered due to the content of the cocktail, and the skin gets a bright, smooth and younger appearance. In general, the treatment is applied every 15 days and the number of sessions varies depending on each patient. Acne treatment usually lasts for 3 months.
*Drugs and creams recommended by the physician in the acne treatment process are important and affect the success of the treatment.
*When mesotherapy is applied for acne treatment, if it is combined with IPL (Lumecca), it provides much faster and more effective results.
*Benzoyl peroxide, antibiotic and retinol treatments (locally) can also be used in acne treatments.
Hyperpigmentation (Spot) Treatment
Sun, advancing age, pregnancy, birth control pills, using make-up materials containing harmful chemicals and acne scars cause spots and discolorations on the skin. Although it occurs on the face, neck, décolleté area and hands where skin blemishes are common, spots can occur on all body parts that are exposed to the sun and external influences.
Spot Mesotherapy
Injection of a number of active substances, used for the treatment of spots, with the help of a small and fine needle into the skin area is called spot mesotherapy. Before making treatment planning for the spots, the diagnosis of the spots should be made correctly. The most commonly used active ingredients in spot mesotherapy; tranexamic acid, multivitamin cocktails, tissue builders, glutathione and vitamin C. In order to increase the effects of the application, the active cocktail is also administered both subcutaneously and intravenously (especially glutathione and vitamin C) in our clinic.
Spot treatment is a long-term process that requires patience for both the patient and the physician. In this process, it should be known that there may be new attacks, especially in the summer months. At the same time, the ideal treatment time is autumn and winter months. In fair-skinned people, the treatment can sometimes completely remove the spots, but there is a possibility of recurrence. Dark-skinned people may be less likely to be treated, and spots are more likely to recur. Light-skinned people can see results within weeks, while dark-skinned people may require months of treatment. Combined applications are more effective in spot treatment. Drugs with lightening properties, spot mesotherapy, PRP, chemical peels can be successfully combined in the treatment of spots, since each of them has a tissue regeneration feature working with a different mechanism.
Acne Scar Treatment
Today, acne scars can be successfully treated thanks to advancing technology. Methods used in acne scar treatment:
- Mesotherapy treatments,
- Dermapen treatment,
- PRP treatment,
Biorevitalization (Youth Vaccine)
Aesthetic Filling
Fillers are substances injected under the skin to restore the lost volume in skin structures with aging, to eliminate wrinkles, and to increase the moisture content of the skin. Gel-like products containing hyaluronic acid are often used in filler injections. The most common application area of fillers is the face area.
For what purpose are fillers used?
- Filling of under-eye pits and removal of bruises
- Eliminating the nasal-mouth-chin (nasolabial and melomental) grooves
- Correction of the jawline
- Prominence of cheekbones
- Lip augmentation
- Temporal augmentation and eyebrow lifting
- Elimination of wrinkles around the lips
- Rejuvenation of hands
The duration of fillers’ effects depends on the product applied, the treatment area and the patient. In general, as the filler product is applied in denser amount and in the depth areas, its permanence also increases. The permanence of hyaluronic acid fillers is between 6-18 months.
What should be considered before filler application? Alcoholic beverages should not be consumed before the application. Gingko biloba, blood thinners, high-dose vitamin E, green tea, aspirin and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs should be discontinued at least three before the application.
What should be considered after the filling application?
- The application area should not be touched.
- Make-up should be at least 24 hours later.
- The application area should not be massaged for at least 1 week.
- Mimics in the application area should not be used excessively for at least 3 days.
- Intense sports should be avoided for 1 week.
- Hot environments such as sauna and jacuzzi should be avoided for 1 week.
- It should not be contacted with a hot-cold substance for 2-3 days after lip augmentation.
- Since the anesthesia is applied in the lip filling, nothing should be eaten or drunk until the sensation returns (2-3 hours).
Cheekbone Fillers
Over time, skin elasticity and the midface volume decrease as fat pads melt. Since the face moves downwards with the effect of gravity, the face changes from an inverted triangle view (▼) to a straight triangle view (▲). In some people, this condition can also be congenital. The ideal volumes of the cheekbones prevent the face from moving downwards and contribute to a sharp jaw line. At the same time, the zygomatic region plays a key role in achieving the "golden ratio". With the filler applications to be made, volume losses of the face can be restored and the "V" shape of the face can be restored. Especially for women, the prominent cheekbones make the face look more beautiful and protect the oval shape of the face.
Treatment of Nasolabial Cavities with Filler
Rapid or excessive weight loss - besides aging, genetic and structural factors - causes the soft tissue to weaken, causing the face to lose its 'V' form and sag down. For the nasolabial grooves that appear on the sides of the nose, it should be supported by cheekbones fillers first. Because the fillers applied to the cheekbones, thanks to its hyaluronic acid content, can pull the face upwards, prevent sagging and eliminate nasolabial lines. According to the skin structure of the person, a more natural result can be obtained with the fillers applied into the nasolabial lines.
Under Eye Light Filler
By aging, atrophies occur in our bone structure and the facial bones move backwards. Bagging under the eyes creates a bruise here due to the decreasing fat tissue. This procedure is an ideal treatment for bruises and wrinkles due to under-eye collapse, and very good results can be obtained. Light filling is a painless medical method that can be applied to both women and men and results in a single procedure. A special thin filler is applied to the problematic area with the help of a cannula within 15 minutes. Depending on the severity of the patient's complaint and the filler material, a single sessions shows its effects for 8-12 months.
When applying under-eye filler, it is very important to evaluate the middle face and support the cheekbone first. In fact, sometimes there is no need for under-eye filler after the cheekbone is supported with fillers.
Sometimes only filling application is not enough for bruises and fine wrinkles around the eyes. In this case, mesotherapy/youth vaccine products containing vitamins and minerals along with hyaluronic acid can be applied around the eyes. If there are serious under-eye bags, about 1 month before the filling application or choosing a special enzymatic treatment instead of filling (PB serum medical) may make you feel happy.
Lip filler
Lip augmentation is a medical method that enables the lips and lip contours to be defined, filled and more beautiful through small injections. Everyone's lip structure, nose-lip relationship and chin shape, as well as their social position, make-up style and expectations are different. While lip augmentation is applied according to the facial features of the person, we always prefer the natural lip appearance.
Purposes of lip augmentation:
- Moisturizing lips and eliminating fine wrinkles,
- Defining the lip contour and improving the perioral lines,
- Eliminating existing asymmetries,
- Giving volume to the lips and to reshaping them if necessary.
In general, a single injector filler is sufficient and takes between 8 and 16 months depending on the product used. However, if you have very thin lips or want to change the shape of the lips, a single injector filler may not be enough. In this case, a revision appointment is given within 1-6 months after the first application.
Nose Filling
The filler used in nasal filling applications is hyaluronic acid. Nasal filling is applied to lift the tip of the nose with small touches, to correct arched appearance or slight asymmetries. It is the appropriate application for people who do not plan to have surgery. The average duration of the fillings is 1-1.5 years. In filling applications containing hyaluronic acid, the substance remains in the application area with a rate of 30%, even if its time passes. Recurrent applications extend the effects.
Jaw Tip and Jaw Line Filling
It can be applied to men and women over the age of 18 whose chin is positioned backside, who want the jaw line to be defined or who want to add a line to the face. The number of injectors applied to create the chin and jawline line is determined according to the needs of the person's facial lines. An average of 3-4 injectors (maximum 6) is used to make the jaw line look sharper. In advanced ages, for sagging due to volume loss, first of all, cheekbone filling and/or thread lift may give a better result. By applying chin and jawline filling, sharper and proportional facial lines are provided. The fillers with hyaluronic acid content show their effects for 1-1.5 years. After a year, the procedure can be repeated to maintain the effect for longer times.
Temporal Filling
The temporal region is the area in the upper third of the face, lateral to the periorbital region. This area is a pit surrounded by bones. Temples are one of the facial areas where aging first begins. Often, changes here may be overlooked by doctors and patients at first. With age, collapse of the hollow bone base, dissolving of the subcutaneous fat tissue, sagging and thinning of the skin occur. Over time, the temple becomes concave with these changes, and the outer eye bone, which forms the anterior border of the pit, becomes more prominent. Eyebrows stand out as unhealthy. Since the temple supports the outer 1/3 of the eyebrow, the outer part of the eyebrow is not visible with aging. The flatness of the temples makes the wrinkles around the eyes more prominent; causes the eyelids to droop from the side. The purpose of the filling in this area is only to replace the lost volume. Thus, the bony appearance on the face disappears. Continuity between the temple pit and the cheekbone is provided. It is possible to obtain a youthful and healthy appearance with the filling to be applied to the temples that collapsed over time. Dermal filler is injected into the temples with a blunt cannula. It is a process of about 15 minutes. Immediately after the application, the person can return to his social life.
Marionette Filling
The elastin and collagen components in the skin begin to weaken with age. This causes thinning of the skin and formation of lines and spaces, especially around the mouth. Marionette lines are one of them. Marionette lines cause the corners of the mouth to droop, causing patients to appear sad or angry, although they normally do not. With the process called marionette filling, these complaints are eliminated and the face is provided with a more ideal appearance. Those who have marionette fillings are very satisfied with the appearance they have after the procedure.
Face Lift Procedures
Spider web
Spider web procedure is a non-surgical face lift procedure applied to eliminate deformations caused by various reasons. This procedure can be applied for facial rejuvenation, reducing wrinkles and sagging on the face, and removing wrinkles under the lower eyelid and around the lips.
This application, which is one of the medical methods, takes its name from the processing of polydiaxanone (PDO) threads using fine-tipped needles as if creating a spider web in the face area. The most important feature of the threads is that they can melt in the human body. PDO threads, which do not cause any side effects, have been used in the field of surgery for 50 years. The number of threads used in this process, which is one of the fast and safe methods, varies according to the deformation and sagging of the person's face. The procedure, which is completed in a short time like half an hour after the administration of local anaesthesia, can be applied easily, painlessly and comfortably to anyone who has problems in the face area, regardless of male or female. This procedure is also preferred by young women between the ages of 30-45 to lift and tighten the skin.
The first effects begin to be observed within 1 month after the procedure; full results are achieved within 3 months. This process can maintain its results for 1.5-2 years. In addition to spider web aesthetics, different methods (biorevitalization, mesotherapy, etc.) can also be supported in order to prolong the effect of the procedure and slow down the aging process of the skin.
COG Thread Lift (Mint Lift, Aqulift)
Produced for COG multi-thread non-surgical face and neck lift, these threads placed in a disposable special cannula are fully attached to the tissue thanks to their reverse and straight awns. COG thread lift is the name given to the method of suspending these awn and thick threads by placing them in the hanging areas thanks to the cannula.
The procedure has many application areas on the face and neck. It is used successfully in the face area, especially in cheek, eyebrow and eyelid sagging, forehead tightening, correction of the deteriorated jawline and neck tightening However, COG thread lift application is not only for those who need aging-related sagging and facial oval rejuvenation. It is also a practical application for young patients who want changes in their face. For example, in recent years, applications such as eyebrow lifting, fox-eyes, cat-eyes, almond eye, ponytail effect are very popular among young women.
The COG thread lift technique is a comfortable and short-term procedure (the procedure can be completed in 30 - 45 minutes) and has a fast recovery period. Since it is a procedure performed with local anaesthesia and does not require general anaesthesia, it does not carry any risk encountered in general anaesthesia. The COG thread lift technique, which is applied with the right technique and under the right conditions, is an extremely safe, minimally invasive method. That's why this process is also called the "lunch lift" or "weekend lift".
COG thread lift is suitable for people who do not need a very intense sagging, serious and open face lift operation. It is a medical method that is easily applied to both men and women who want to look younger, usually between the ages of 35 and 60.
French Lift
The French lift is the most powerful non-surgical facelift procedure applied to heal the negative changes that occur in the face and neck with aging. A self-melting thread is used in the face lift process with thread lift. This thread is called PDO (polydioxanone) threads. The lifting and tightening effect provided in the French lift process is known to be an average of 1 and a half years for PDO thread. These periods depend on the quality of the skin, its thickness, the patients' attention to the necessary rules after the procedure, and so on.
After cleaning the application area, local anaesthesia is applied. During the process, special threads with awns and needles at both ends are used. After being fixed in the middle of the temporal region with threads having needles at both ends, the desired tightening effect is achieved by applying the lifting technique. However, these threads do not only provide a lifting/strengthening effect. At the same time, it increases the quality of the skin by stimulating the synthesis of collagen in the skin. The thread lift application begins to show its effects immediately after the procedure, and its full effects are achieved at the end of an average of 6 weeks.
Since the French thread lift is not a surgical procedure, recovery does not take long or leaves scars after the procedure (provided that the patient pays attention to the necessary rules). The most common side effects are; a short-term swelling, bruising and slight dimpling will go away by itself within 15 days.
Non-surgical facelift with thread is sufficient on its own to remove wrinkles and sagging. If filling application is required, it can be done at least 1 month later.
Acupuncture
Acupuncture is one of the oldest treatment methods in the world. Acupuncture, the basic method of Chinese medicine, is applied by inserting very thin needles into strategic points on your body.
According to the acupuncture method, diseases occur with the deterioration of the energy balance (ying yang energy balance) in the body. It is aimed to restore the energy balance with needle, laser or heat applications on the acupuncture points and diseases are treated with this method.
Although acupuncture is used especially in the treatment of pain, it is also applied for problems such as many acute and chronic diseases, stress management, depression, weight loss, alcohol and smoking cessation.
Acupuncture has gained an important place in medicine because it provides healing in many diseases that are resistant to traditional treatments, it has no side effects like in drug treatment and is easy to apply. Acupuncture, which is also accepted by scientific medicine today, is in the category of complementary medicine.
IV Treatments
What Is Myers Cocktail?
Myers cocktail (energy cocktail) is basically a vitamin therapy used in the treatment of ailments such as chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia (soft tissue rheumatism), depression, muscle spasm, acute asthma attacks and migraines. It contains magnesium, calcium, vitamin B complex (B5, B6 and B12), vitamin C and various minerals that the body needs. In the 1970s, the Myers cocktail developed by John Myers had been a complementary therapy preferred by those who wanted to improve their general health functions for almost half a century.
How Is Myers Cocktail Therapy Applied?
Myers cocktail therapy is applied to the person by opening a vascular access, just like a serum. Myers cocktail therapy is completed in an average of 1 hour. The frequency of application varies according to the condition, expectation and discomfort of the person. Before the Myers cocktail therapy, the previous diseases of the person are examined and the vitamin and mineral values are tested. After analysing all of these studies, the dose and frequency of administration of the Myers cocktail is decided. The Myers cocktail can be administered to anyone over the age of 16.
The benefits of the Myers cocktail can be listed as follows:
- It strengthens the immune system of people and makes them feel better and healthier.
- Increases the body's resistance against colds and flu, which are the most common in winter months.
- Relieves fibromyalgia symptoms known as general muscle pain.
- Myers cocktail is among the effective treatment methods for migraine and headaches.
- Myers cocktail, which reduces muscle spasms, can also be used to protect bone health.
- People with sleep problems or chronic fatigue disorders
With the Myers cocktail, these problems can be minimized. The Myers cocktail is among the preferred therapies in the treatment of allergies.
Glutathione Therapy
Glutathione is one of the most important molecules we need in order to stay healthy, increase our performance, prevent diseases and protect ourselves from the effects of aging, control the immune system and chronic inflammation.
How is it applied?
Glutathione, which is naturally produced in our body, decreases due to poor diet, alcohol, drugs and toxic substances. It can be taken intravenously as a supplement to keep the glutathione level high. Since glutathione is a component found in the body under normal conditions and the treatment is on increasing the density of this component, no side effects are observed. There are no expected risks or complications after the glutathione treatment procedure.
Glutathione treatment is applied in 8-10 sessions on average, 1-2 times a week, in line with the physician's recommendation.
What Are the Benefits of Glutathione Therapy?
- Strengthens the immune system.
- Neutralizes free radicals.
- Reduces oxidative stress and greatly supports the body's defence mechanism.
- Cleans the heavy metals accumulated in the body.
- Reduces the formation of tumor cells.
- Increases muscle performance.
- Reduces the effects of pain in the joints and muscles.
